Plugin Installation

From your WordPress Dashboard

  • Visit “Plugins” > “Add New”.
  • Click “Upload Plugin”.
  • Select zip-archive with plugin and click “Install Now”.

Via file upload

  • Download and unpack zip-archive with plugin.
  • Upload the Growanizer folder to your “/wp-content/plugins/” directory via FTP client.

Plugin Activation

  • Activate Growanizer from your plugins page.
  • Click “License”

  • Enter your license key

  (You can find the license key in your account at https://www.growanizer.com)

  •  Click “Activate”.

Settings for Growanizer

  • Visit “Growanizer” > “Main settings” 

With the main settings, you can enable three basic modules: Related Products, Attributes Slider, Product Finder.

Check the “Disable Growanizer`s Font Awesome” if other fonts are connected on your site.

  • Click ‘Save Changes’

Create Your Own Theme from Default Theme

1.Create  Own Theme for the Related products module and Attributes slider module.

You can create an unlimited number of your own themes and apply them to several related product modules (if you create several rules). You can also apply your different themes to several attributes slide modules (if you create several attributes slide modules).

  • Visit “Growanizer” > “Related products and Attributes slider themes” tab

  • Click “Create Your Own Theme From Default Theme”
  • Name your own theme and click “Create”

In the “Available Themes” drop-down list you will see your new theme

Choose your theme from the list and you can customize your theme

  • In the “General” tab you can customize styles for a “Title” in the block

  • In the Slider Item tab you will be able to customize the basic settings for the display of each item in the slider

  • In the “Slider Item Image” you can customize images in the slider

  • In the “Product Name” tab you can set up settings for the Title of the product’s block 

  • In the “Slider Item Price” tab you can set up settings for product prices in your block (the settings in this tab apply only to the related product module).

  •  In the “Add to cart” button tab you can customize settings for the “Add to cart” button for products in your block (the settings in this tab apply only to the related product module).

  • In the “Arrows” tab you can customize arrows for your block with products

  • After customizing your theme, be sure to click “Save Settings” button.
  • By selecting the active theme from the dropdown list, you can delete it.

Before editing your theme, be sure that you choose the theme that you want to customize in the “Available Themes” drop-down list.

After creating your own theme, please, choose your theme for the “Related products module”

Also, it is necessary to choose your theme for further settings in the “Attributes slider module”

2. Create  Own Theme for the Product Finder module.

 You can create an unlimited number of your own themes and apply them to several “Product finder modules”. 

  • Visit “Growanizer” > “Product Finder themes” tab

  • Click “Create Your Own Theme From Default Theme”
  • Name your own theme and click “Create”

In the “Available Themes” drop-down list you can find your newly created theme

Choose your theme from the list and you can customize your theme

  •  In the “General” tab you can customize Main Background styles for all steps. You can set an image for each step in the steps setting.

  •  In the “Top Navigation” tab you can customize icon styles for all steps. You can set an image for each step.

  •  In the “Attributes” tab you can customize styles for attribute filters by which a user can filter products according to his criteria.

  • In the “Navigation buttons” tab you can customize styles for navigation buttons in your Multi-Step block.

  • In the “Error Message” tab you can customize styles for message that appears if a user didn’t select any parameters in your Multi-Step block.

  • After customizing your theme, be sure to click the “Save Settings” button.

  • If you want to delete the active theme choose it from the dropdown list and press the button “Remove Selected Theme”.

Before editing your theme, be sure that you choose the theme in the “Available Themes” drop-down list that you want to customize.

How to Download Themes for Related Products, Attributes Slider and Product Finder for free?

You can view examples of the themes for “Related Products”, “Attributes Slider”, and “Product Finder” on the “Demo” site. 

Click on the menu “Demo”.

How to download themes for Related Products?

Choose the necessary theme from the drop-down menu.

Also, you can view all existing themes for a certain product as “Related Products”, “Attributes Slider”, and “Product Finder” by clicking on the button “See more” under the theme preview block.

After choosing the theme go to your admin panel “Growanizer”> “Main menu”> “Related Products and Attributes Slider”> “Download theme template”.

Be sure that toggle switched on “Related Products”.

Under a theme, you can see two buttons “Live demo” and “Import”.  “Live demo” forwards to the “Demo” site where you can look deeper into how it displays.  “Import” allows you to download the theme.

Choose your theme and click “Import”. There will be a link that forwards to the settings of the rule.

In the settings for the rule, it is needed to choose criteria “Where to display” and “What to display”.  If no rule is set in this section this rule will be applied for ALL products and ANY products will be shown in the block of related products on the site pages. Once it’s finished click “Update” and your rule will be published. 

How to download themes for Attributes Slider?

Go to your admin panel “Growanizer”> “Main menu”> “Related Products and Attributes Slider”> “Download theme template”.

Switch on the toggle to the position “Attributes Slider”.

Choose your theme and click “Import”. There will be a link that forwards to the settings of the rule.

Follow the link and make some adjustments to the rule.

If “Archives” for this attribute is disabled you can enable this option by following the link “here”.

If no attribute was created for the products go to “Products”> “Attributes”> “Add New”.

Here you can quickly and easily add attributes and their terms.

  • Add a “Name”.
  • Enable “Archives”.

Select “Add Attribute”.

The attribute is added but without values.

Select the “Configure terms” text to add attribute values.

Add the created attributes to your products.

  1. Go to “Products” > “Add Product” (or edit an existing one).
  2. Select the “Attributes” tab in the Product Data. There you can choose any of the attributes that you’ve created in the dropdown menu.
  3. Select “Add”.

Once products and attributes were created you can continue to make adjustments to the “Attributes Slider” rule.

Go to “Growanizer”> “Attributes Slider”> “Edit” rule. Add attributes in the block “What to display”.

Once it is done “Publish” the rule.

Copy the shortcode.

Go to the “Pages”> Add “New” (or edit an existing one).

“Add block”> “Shortcode”> Insert the shortcode of the downloaded rule that was copied before. “Publish” the rule. View the page.

How to download themes for Product Finer?

Go to your admin panel “Growanizer”> “Main menu”> “Product Finder”> “Download theme template”.

Choose your theme and click “Import”. There will be a link that forwards to the settings of the rule.

Add all necessary attributes to the steps.

If no attribute was created for the products you can find out how to do it in the block “How to download themes for Attributes Slider?”. Once attributes were added “Publish” the rule.

Copy the shortcode.

Go to the “Pages”> Add “New” (or edit an existing one).

“Add block”> “Shortcode”> Insert the shortcode of the downloaded rule that was copied before. “Publish” the rule. View the page.

Setup Related Products module

Visit “Related Products” > “Add section”

Growanizer allows you to create an unlimited number of rules for a block of related products. 

Here you can configure Basic options for a related product rule.

  • Status: Allows you to enable or disable the rule on the site. 
  • Cart Status: Allows you to show or hide a block on the cart page. 
  • Priority: Allows you to prioritize and decide which rule will be executed first if multiple rules apply to the same product.
  • Block position: Allows you to set the position of the block in different places on the product page.

With the help of an extensive setting “Where to display”, you can create a group(s) on which products to display the Related products block. You can create several items where to display a block of related products.

Select settings show for:

 – All products 

– By the name of a specific product 

– For some products from

– For some categories 

– For some tags assigned in products 

– For certain prices 

– For certain IMS 

– According to the inventory 

– By product weight  

With the help of an extensive setting “What to display” you can create a group(s) of products that should be displayed in the Related products block.  You can create several items that will be displayed in the Related products block.

With settings “How to Displayyou will be able to customize the view of your related products block.

Select settings:

  • Add your block name via “Block Title”
  • Select block Layout: “Slider” or “Grid”
  • Select “Theme Layout” (You can customize theme styles in the tab > Settings >Related Product and Block attribute Themes)
  • Select “Number of columns in slider” 
  • Show or hide navigation in slider
  • Enable or disable  “Add To Cart” button on the block
  • Enable or disable  “Ratings” button on the block
  • Enable or disable  “Price” of a product button on the block
  • Setup “Max products to display in the block”
  • Set up sorting by product with different options: Random,  Bestsellers,  Newest, By price.
  • Setup “Image Size” for products in the block
  • Setup Include or not  in image tag srcset 

After your changes’re finished click “Update”  and your rule will be published.

Setup Attributes Slider module

  • Visit “Attributes Slider” > “Add Slider”

Growanizer allows you to create an unlimited number of “Attributes Slider” modules and add them to any pages via Shortcodes.

  • In the “Main Setting”, you can setup Enabled or Disabled your module on pages.

With the help of an extensive setting “What to display“, you can add a group(s) filters by products. By clicking on one of the groups, the user gets the result of all products that belong to this group. For displaying attributes in the settings of “What to display”, it is necessary to add attributes to the WooCommerce.

1. Adding Attributes:

  • Visit “Products” > “Attributes”
  • Add “Attribute Name”
  • Check the “Enable Archives?”
  • Click “Add Attribute”

  • After the attribute has been created, you can add Terms by which your products will be filtered

  • Click “Configure terms”
  • Add Name Term
  • Click  “Add new First Attribute”

You can create an unlimited number of terms by which your products will be filtered.

2. Adding attributes to products.

For filtering by groups to work, it is necessary to add attributes to the products.

  • Visit “Products” > “Attribures”

  • Select the required attribute(s) from the drop-down list
  • Click “Add”

  • Select term(s) and save changes

After adding all the created attributes to the products, the attributes that you created will be displayed in the “What to Display” settings and you can continue to customize the “Attribute slider”.

You can select only the necessary criteria by which products will be filtered.

If in the block  “What to display” there no attribute is available it means that archives for this attribute are disabled. You can enable this option by following the given link.

In the settings “How to Displayyou can customize the view of your “Attributes Slider” block.

Select settings:

  • Add a name for your Slider via “Slider Title”
  • Select “Theme Layout” (You can customize theme styles in the tab “Growanizer” > “Main Settings” > “Product Finder Themes”)
  • Show or hide Attribute names
  • Choose “Attribute Name Position”
  • Select “Number of columns in slider”
  • Show or hide navigation in slider

Growanizer automatically generates a shortcode for “Attributes Slider” that you can copy and add on any page to your site.

After your changes click “Publish”  and your “Attribute Slider” will be published.

Setup Product Finder module

Visit “Product Finder” > Add Item

Growanizer allows you to create an unlimited number of Product Finder modules and add them to any pages via Shortcodes.

Here you can configure the “Main settings for a Product Finder item.

  • “Status”: It Allows you to enable or disable the module on the site
  • “Suggestions Title”: It allows you to customize the title on the product result page.
  • “Suggestions Empty Results Title”: It allows you to customize the title on the product result page if no result was found
  • “Empty Params Message”: It allows you to customize the message for the module if a user hasn’t selected any attributes.
  • “Not Exists Values Message”: It allows you to customize the message if it doesn’t find products by certain attributes.
  • “Suggestions Count”: It allows setting up the number of found products on one page
  • “Theme Layout”: It allows select Theme Layout (You can customize theme styles in the tab “Main Settings” > “Product Finder Themes”)
  • “Step Navigation Style”: It allows to select navigation option – “Icons”, “Numbers”, “Disable navigation”

How to customize your own theme you can find documentation in the “Create Your Own Theme From Default Theme” section.

With “Steps settings” you can add one or several steps for your Product Finder module.

  • Select  “Add New Step”

Basic settings for each step are displayed

  • “Title”: It allows add a title for the step, the main parameter by which the products will be filtered.

For example: Color, Age, Size, etc.

  • Attributes: It allows select the main attribute by which the products will be filtered.

For selecting attributes, it is necessary to add attributes to the main WooCommerce settings and also add attributes to the products.

  • “Attribute variants”: It allows select one or several variations from the main attribute by which products will be filtered

  • “Icon Font Awesome”: This allows select icons for each step. This setting will be acceptable  if only it was chosen in the “Main Settings” > “Step Navigation Style”> “Icons”

  • “Load my own icon”: This allows load own icon instead of Font Awesome icons.

  • “Background”: It allows select a background image for each step

  • After your changes click “Publish”  and your Product Finder module will be published.
